We chose this hotel after being recommended by a friend. We arrived right before the peak of the season so it was not very busy. There weren't very many people there. I overheard the manager telling the cashier to make sure that my room would be away from "the bus full of people we are expecting here tomorrow." I thought that was pretty considerate. We only ate breakfast there on our last morning, and it was average. While it was not spectacular, they did have the basics (eggs, biscuits, sausages, yogurt, cereal, bagels, waffles, etc...) and one of the workers remained in the dining room to make sure that we had everything that we needed. We enjoyed the bonfire by ourselves (My husband and I). The rooms are very clean. The beds feel a little stiff. My husband was extremely comfortable and loved the mattress but I prefer mine a little softer. Since it was only us, I took the pillows from the other bed (all rooms are suites with a bed in the living room section). I also brought extra pillows from home. With over five pillows to myself, I definitely made the stiff bed feel pretty comfortable. As long as I have many pillows, I am fine. It was a short walk to the Arnold Ferry. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next stay.
