The Beach House is a family owned and operated resort run with pride and integrity. We are the last stand of cottages on the water in Mackinaw City. We are 1 mile east of downtown. There are sidewalks and a bike trail to get to town.- #15

The Beach HouseThe Beach House, Mackinaw City, MI PJ-n-DJ from Sussex stayed in April 2017We pulled in here on a whim as we loved the look of the pretty individual cottages clustered by a stretch of sandy beach. We were not disappointed as it well lived up to its initial promise. Our cottage was really clean and also cosy (as it was unseasonably cold that day). We looked straight out onto the beach and the lake, and had a great view of the Mackinac Bridge, particularly when it was lit up at night. There were plenty of seats out on the beach, plus a fire circle and wood provided if you wanted to make a fire. We also made good use of the pretty large indoor pool and hot tub. There was decent coffee and delicious homemade muffins to get you started in the morning. But the most important thing from our point of view was that we got a really good nights sleep as we were not attached to anybody else. We didn't have to listen to anyone else's TV, count how many times they slammed the door or listen to their overloud conversations. Sheer blissTraveled with: Family
