I did not stay at the Best Western it was closed. I was switched to the Hamilton Inn. It was outstanding. I had a great experience and would recommend and stay there again.

Our stay was actually at the Hamilton. We loved the room: Great view, lovely TV - wardrobe cabinet, good breakfast, nice facilities and amenities. This is our second stay at the Hamilton- we would come back !

Great room at a great price. We loved the decor of the room, and the hot tub was fantastic. The room was well appointed and the location was perfect. The cozy location was EXACTLY what we were looking for on our getaway vacation.

The Best Western Dockside is first class all the way, from the lobby staff & complimentary coffee to the lovely balcony room with the incredible view. After a miserable drive in terrible weather, the hotel was a welcoming and very comfortable oasis.

Our stay was at the end of the season. All staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast room was welcoming and well stocked with food items. Room was clean and beds were great. We also enjoyed a stroll on the beach.

Very nice and accomodating. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The in-room heater/air conditioner was a bit noisy and blew on the person closest to the unit:-( Breakfast was great, plenty of variety and all delicious! Something for everyone.

Other than the weather being windy and raining, we had a very good stay. Too short but was on our way to Marquette. The rates were great. The room was very comfortable and the free breakfast was very good. Will stay there again.

Our stay was near the end of October. The room was great and the breakfast was good. We had a problem with our heater in our room and tempertaure wise it was very cold when we checked in. Maintenance had to come work on it that evening. After about half hour, it was working. Other than that our stay was a good experience and I would stay there again.

This was a return visit to the same Best Western and plan to return next year. It was clean, warm and comfortable. The only problem was a lack of towel racks. The sink area is outside of the bathroom and there is no where to hang the used towels and it is inconvenient to go into the bathroom to dry your hands. Consequently you pile up the used ones around the sink and end up using another clean one - you have a message about water & energy conservation and to reuse towels but this makes it very difficult. The bathroom also needs towel racks, we stayed for 3 consecutive nights and had no where to hang the used towels. We certainly would have reused more if there was a place to hang and keep track of them.

Rooms were clean and decorated nicely, quite and the veiw of the water was nice. Could have used a light on the balcony for the nite time veiwing. Beds slept well, but the pull out couch could have used more chush, mattress a little thin for 60 and up.

The hotel room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The view wasn't as nice as I had hoped it would be. Breakfast left a little bit to be desired. Was looking forward to some gravy but it was not very good. Wish we had been told pick up our coupon pack before our check in time and prior to our ferry trip to Mackinaw Island. It would have saved up $15 on five tickets for the ferry.

Booked a street-side room, had one with a balcony and view of the lake, a nice surprise. Also, the breakfast was very good. Good reception when checking in and out. 2nd stay at this hotel and will probably stay there again if/when we want to go Mackinac Island in the future.

Loved it! Had 3 huge beds in the room for us and our boys and let our dog stay, too! Pool was nice and we were right across from the lake where the bridge is. So pretty! Breakfast was great, too.

Although it was a busy time when we arrived to check in, the staff was friendly and quick to take care of us. Room was clean and odor free. It is unusual to walk into a hotel room and not get a smoke/musty/unclean smell. Bed was extremely comfortable. The continental breakfast was good, you had to wait quite a while to get to the food. I think they need a larger serving area. Hotel is close to downtown and we had a lakeview room and could watch the boats traveling back and forth to Mackinaw Island.

Outstanding because we had a beautiful view of the lake, and a very clean and pleasant room. We left a package in the closet, when we went over to the island, and they were very attentive about checking on it as soon as we called, and they held it until we could pick it up the next day!

The room was great. I rate the hotels by the bed, since that is where you are most of the stay. This was one of the most comfortable mattresses that I have slept on. The hot tub was real nice and the room was very clean. The breakfast was very good. I will go back to stay there again. The fall prices were fantastic at $79.

The room was advertised as "courtside". What it really needed to say was it was "parking lot side". The jacuzzi only worked on one speed and that was very slow. We were looking for a view and something special in the guest room. What we received was just average.

The room was everything I wanted. I wanted a special weekend for my wife and me, so I got a room with a jacuzzi tub. When we got there we checked in and the front desk ladies were very nice and had everthing ready for us. We went to the room and it was perfect, added water to the tub and enjoyed it. THe beds were fantastic, I have a fake memory foam bed and the Tempur pedic was wonderful. I am now planning to replace my mattress with a tempurpedic. Thanks again for a wonderful Hotel.

The room was very clean and attratively updated with a wonderful view of the beach from the balcony. On the negative side was the location of the breakfast room. It was on the third floor and the only way to get there was to use the outdoor walkway on the third floor and it was windy and raining when we were there. It also would have been nice to be greeted with a 'welcoming smile' when checking in.
