Because Econo Lodge was not open our reservation was transfered to the Hamilton Hotel acrossed the street and the accomadations were excelent!

One thing we did not like was the cleaning of our room while when we went out for the day. The breakfast was a great surprise, all the choices and how everything was set up was wonderful. Really enjoyed our stay and we would stay again.

Room was very nice & clean. Plenty of towels. Bed was comfortable. Door lock was very hard to operate. Great price on the room. Good water pressure. Overall, we will stay there again.

The room was very neat and tidy. Beds were very comfortable. Great location of hotel and loved the indoor waterparks. Wonderful breakfast and breakfast area. Would surely book a room again. Very happy with everything hotel offered. Really cant say enough about what a good deal for a wonderful stay at Mackinaw City.

Our room was fantastic! The breakfast bar was good, however it is only served til 8:30am - fortunately they kept serving as long as there were people coming in. The breakfast line was long and congested at times - many people waiting to make waffles. I think the hot food line would have moved faster if the waffle station would be moved over by the bread station. This would get it out of the middle of the room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Many perks for the kids including the waterpark and free hot breakfast. The only thing I didnt like was such a late check in and the inclusion of the waffle irons in the breakfast line, which made it HUGE.

Great place & location. Room was beautiful & clean. Bed was the comfyest hotel bed we've been in -- in a long time. Staff was helpful & fun to talk to. Only change we'd suggest is that you remove the listing of restaraunt & bar from your advertisement since you don't have it yet. We had kind of counted on those being available. Thank You for the good time we had in Mackinaw City.

The fitted sheets on the beds did not fit properly and they continually came off on one corner throughout both nights. The bathroom vanity area could use a bit of renovation. The people who work there were very polite, helpful and courteous. One of the staff even revisited our room one week later to look for a lost item and then called us back to report--AWESOME!!

Great place to stay if you have kids. EVERYTING is within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again. Nice front office staff, nice rooms, playground, waterpark and breakfast all good.

Very clean, as advertised.. I saw only one negative ,, the spiders all over the balcony while trying to watch fire works.. I understand those are outside issues and sometimes hard to control, but it appeared that they where out of control. We had no small children , not an issue.

Our stay was very nice. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone who asked. Our phone in the room wasn't working and a maintenance was there, before I could return to our room. The room was clean, the pool refreshing and the breakfast was enjoy able.

The room was nice and clean and remodeled. We just wished the breakfast area was organized a little bit better.....bottleneck @ coffee area and the server didn't have any help. Just one girl was all we could see. Love your city though....

Our room was clean and comfortable. The location was good. Cards in the room stated breakfast was available until 10a but it was only available until around 8:30a.The waterpark was thoroughly enjoyed by my grandchildren.

WiFi connection was so slow, we could not use it. We would also suggest extending the breakfast hours to slighter later. The refrigerator was nice but a small microwave would have been appreciated. The price was definitely a good deal. We would stay there again if in Mackinaw City.

We enjoyed our stay at the ECONOLODGE BAYVIEW. It was centraly located and we were able to walk everywhere. The boat dock was across the street and very convient for us. We enjoyed the breakfast also.

Front desk staff was very accomidating and friendly. Loft cabin was wonderful. Outdoor pool had no towels available. This was inconvenient. Breakfast buffet was fair, but in an extremely HOT room.

The little cabins were very pleasant and clean, but were crowded close together, and had the feeling of being in a parking lot. More trees and plantings near the cabins would help. Also, the mattress in our cabin was not very good, I could feel springs poking me. All things considered, though, I would stay there again.

Very impressed with the cost and what was offered with package. Clean like the fa t rom was straightened while family was at water park even though we were checking out and she did it with such care. Putting little guys stuffed animals up on pillws just like mama would. Are coming back again to stay again this summer.

This rating should be applied to the Hamilton Inn Select as they called me the day before my stay and said the Econolodge Bayview was doing some renovating and the Hamilton Inn Select accomodated my reservation...so to rate them... The service was great...the room was fantastic...temperpedic bed made me sleep like a baby...the breakfast buffet was decent...the only small complaint I would have had was the public pool and jacuzzi was so crowded we couldn't even get into the jacuzzi and at 9 oclock at night there were way to many little kids there for that time of night...but that is not the hotels fault...just poor parenting decisions...

The hotel was great for our family. We stayed in the motel portion right on the lake. We were able to park the car right outside the room for easy access. The 2 pools were great and the weather cooperated and allowed us to use the outdoor pool during our entire stay. We loved the nightly bonfire and the large picnic area allowed us to use our grill and make our own meals on several of the nights that we stayed. Very quite, would definitely recommend for a family stay. We hope to stay again.

It's not the Four Seasons by any stretch of the imagination but for a family staying with 2 young kids the price and amenities can't be beat! It was typical Mackinac fall weather during our visit,cold, windy and rainy but the water park (which was bigger and nicer than I had anticipated) was a great distraction for the kiddos. The huge hot breakfast bar with make your own waffles was great to "load up"on before heading out in the weather. For $49 a night for the 5 of us, we didn't even feel like we paid for the room, which was way spacious even if a little old. We stayed 2 nights here and headed for the island for a additional 2. Truth be told we wish we would have just done a day trip to the island this time and would have stayed all 4 nights at this hotel as the kids got sort of bored on the island. If the rates stay this low we will be back again this year and a couple times next year - we can afford "mini vacations" at this price!
