Excellent location because so close to restaurants. Ferries, and shoppes. The room is clean and upgraded with a large flat screen TV and granite counter. Of course, you had no control over the fish flies or May flies. Just thankful they didn't bite! Reminded me of what the Egyptians encountered when God sent the plague of flies because Pharaoh wouldn't free the Israelites. I know you had no control of this, but we were disappointed in the town not having more services available to visitors and a lack of concern about it. I needed some medicine for my wife and had to drive across the long bridge to seek it only to find the drug store closed. I then went 25 miles south to fine no place open there. I lost my boat tickets in the windy night of check in and had to purchase another set of five at the boat dock but one of the room attendents found them in the parking lot. Could not get reimbursed but they are good for next year. Hopefully we will use them next year. Did not feel like they were closing that weekend. Good trip.
