Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront HotelHamilton Inn Select Beachfront Hotel Verified Hotel Customer stayed in May 2024We LOVED our stay it was our 2 year dating anniversary and we didn't have a lot of money and almost didn't go but the staff helped us with discounts to the ferry and free breakfast we decided we LOVE MACKINAW and our hotel was in the perfect spot for us to bike ride explore and catch the ferry were making this trip an annual tradition THANK YOU LADIES UP FRONT also we even had suprise Fireworks on SaturdayThese comments are from a verified stay

I don't think the crowd was entirely expected as the Continental breakfast was quite emptied when we arrived with half an hour of time still to go. They answered any questions we had and made sure our expectations were met and we had what we needed. Breakfast leaves something to be desired (so few options at all). Room was clean and spacious. Hotel could use some updating as it is well worn and appears to be the primary year-round hotel option (covering the off-season). We had a balcony on Lake Huron with amazing views. The inn offered continental breakfast free each morning and it was wonderful. There was an indoor pool and hot tub but we didn't take advantage of this. It was an easy walk to restaurants and shops, and convenient to both ferrys. Customer service at the front desk was exceptional, and those ladies went beyond answering questions and being helpful. I would recommend the Hamilton Inn, and if I return to this area, I will stay at the Hamilton.I would also add that I received awesome information about the area in general from the Mackinaw City Chamber of Tourism which helped me plan my stay.These comments are from a verified stay2 people found this helpful. The view of the lake and the morning sunrise was spectacular. The room was clean and neat, bath a little outdated but still very clean.You are close to the ferry (quick walking distance) and buying your tickets at the hotel were cheaper than at the ferry gate. Many eating places to choose from and of course lots of shops,I would definitely recommend staying there.
