That is why I made my reservations at this hotel again this year. the rooms are suites to give you more space, the hotel is clean, the rooms are on the waterfront, and everyone who works there is very courteous, kind, and helpful with questions.it is a short distance from downtown, the bridge, the fairies,in that long distances from other historic sites.These comments are from a verified stay86 people found this helpful. Hotel clerk was helpful, but could have been a bit more friendly. Breakfast was good , but nothing special. As luck would have it, we were there along with a bus load of students so the breakfast buffet was overwhelmed, and into the night, is sounded like someone was practicing gymnastics in the room above us. We realized this was an anomaly as this was a very nice property overall. Plus, they informed us about the ferry service pickup and drop off and made the call to the service; very convenient. Mackinaw Beach & BayMackinaw Beach & Bay Robert from Lawrenceburg stayed in May 2013Front desk was very friendly.The rooms very clean.Even though the hotel was not full because of the time we were there,they did have a group of children there and a few other people.Our room was going to be close to other filled rooms and the night manager separated everyone so it would be quiet.Our room was on the third floor and had the most beautiful view of the lake,the boats and the bridge.When we come back we will stay at the Beach and Bay.
