Located on Lake Huron, the Comfort Inn Lakeside is one of Mackinaw City's finest. Excellent for swimming and sunbathing, our private sandy beach features a large sundeck and beach furniture. Enjoy the cool, sparkling water and the most fantastic views of Mackinac Island, the Island ferryboats, and the many beautiful and interesting sights and sounds of the famous Straits of Mackinac.
An elegant blend of colonial and traditional themes creates a comforting, relaxing atmosphere at the Comfort Inn Lakeside. All of our guest rooms offer two queen or one king-sized bed. Many of the rooms offer private balconies overlooking the lake, and in-room whirlpools are also available. A deluxe continental breakfast is served each morning on the lakefront. Refrigerators, telephones, PC hook-up and remote control flat screen televisions are standard in all our accommodations. For our guests' enjoyment, we also have an indoor swimming pool and the largest indoor whirlpool in Mackinaw City.

Lots of light around them and lots mosquitoes and other flying insects in the room with leftover bug splatter on the walls. Old breakfast room was full of spiders and sand. (Which is to be expected but not to the extent it was.) - New breakfast set up is not convenient to walk through another Hotel.(Was not as the pictured in the website advertisement.)Front desk staff was not helpful unless asked and seemed to have an attitude of being bothered. Easy check-in, room was clean, bed comfortable, balcony on bay was great, within walking distance to everything, it was especially great being on the end so no doors slamming and no hallway noise! The only tip I have is to clean up the outside of the hotel! Clean up all the cobwebs and bugs accumulating on the street side of the hotel! That is what potential customers will look at as they walk by! Super 8 next door looked cleaner. Im in marketing so I look at the whole pckg! Maintenance should be notified. The one night at the hotel costs $300+ and then we had to go to the hotel next door for the continental breakfast. Thank goodness I had my Amigo handicap cart to ride to the breakfast next door. The views were amazing and I seen the moonrise in a way I have never seen before. Everything was close and the staff was very friendly and helpful.The firework display was directly in front of our hotel so we seen them perfectly. The only complaint I have is the lake was cold, but clearly there is no control of that lol. Overall I loved it and we will be visiting again in the near future. There was no mircrowave. The room itself was really nice and the view fantasic.
