The room was clean, bed comfortable. Beautiful sunrise from the balcony. Our only complaint was the front desk clerk who checked us in. He was condescending almost to the point of being rude, didn't give us any helpful information such as the breakfast hours or the wifi password. The staff were SO accommodating, and loved the rooms we ended up with. We booked for our return trip home and the staff remembered us from the previous one night stay. The staff couldn't have been nicer, and were very accommodating to 2 travel weary travelers. The front desk staff performed as if it was their hotel, and their reputation on the line with their service. The room was up to date and very comfortable. The breakfast offered a variety of items and if you did not leave full, that was your own fault. We had a lovely view of the lake and there were two chairs to sit and observe. Unfortunately it was a rainy evening. Should we ever return to the area, we would stay again. Clean rooms and a friendly staff. We had booked a two night stay at the Clarion in July. Stayed only one night and we were lucky enough to get a room at the Hamilton for our second night. Clarion room was over sprayed with freshener, noisy air conditioner and bathroom fan didn't operate properly. Will not return to the Clarion.
