I called Hamilton to see if there were any rooms available and Tim was excellent and explained the cancellation policy in regards to chamber hotels and made sure that my transition between the hotels went very smoothly. The hotel was a bit outdated, and the pool needed some cleaning. There was one poor customer experience with the front desk. The pool towels were gone, and we asked if they could bring more. The room was clean. the only one thing I would like to mention is that the breakfast area is rather crowded for the number of people. I would highly suggest to have additional waffle makers since this seems to create a lot of traffic for families. Hard with luggage. It would have been nice to have had a warning about that. Faucet did not work in beach area, had to use one at Clarion. Guides had outdated info about hotel. They should be updated. Bought ferry tickets, Carriage tour, & Butterfly tickets at front desk. We assumed the butterfly tickets were for the one on the Carriage tour but they were for the other butterfly house instead. Most people would find that upsetting but we actually preferred the other butterfly house to the one on the Carriage Tour. Just a heads up for most of your guests. We had a marvelous mini-vacation, and the hotel was part of that! A few suggestions: maybe a few more healthy items on the breakfast menu (whole grains, almond milk, fresh fruit vs. Canned fruit). Also, your description implied water parks were included, and there was still a (nominal) charge. The temp on the hot tub seemed a bit too high. And have you considered a service elevator? The maids (who were wonderful) needed the elevator for their carts at "prime time" when the most people were going and coming in mid-morning and there was a bottleneck there both days. The breakfast was good; would have been better to switch up the fruit but the selection was great. The lady ran a tight ship busy with keeping the food replaced.
