The room was spacious and we appreciated that, spending four nights there. We enjoyed the balcony and the views of Lake Huron and Mackinac Island. The hotel seemed very quiet, for the most part, and the mattresses were amazingly comfortable, making for a good night's sleep. The breakfast area was huge, but, for the most part, it moved quickly and efficiently. The building and the rooms were beautiful, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The view was spectacular. The breakfast was delicious, And the location was perfect - right next to the ferry terminals and all the restaurants and downtown shopping and attractions. Unbeknownst to us we hit this hotel right before peak season. We stayed on the ground floor with balcony viewing the Straits of Michigan with a king sized bed and jetted bathtub.
