The motel has been around for a while but was clean with the interior painted surfaces and carpet in decent shape. Staff was friendly . (Family party of 10). The environment was covid sensitive but accommodating to our needs. The location was convenient to the Mackinac ferry. The location was convenient to all downtown activities and to the ferries. Our family had a good time and we would gladly stay here again. The one let down was the quality of the free wifi provided by the hotel. The speed was very slow rendering the internet almost unreachable. It is a great layout for a stay in Mackinaw and has everything we need. We thought the room cleanliness was good, as was the hot tub and pool area. I did not have a long wait to check in, but there were several times I noticed long lines for checking in and it seemed like there was only 1 staff member available. Customer service everywhere in Mackinaw City and on the Island was amazing! We loved being within walking distance to downtown and the ferries.
