The Beach House is a family owned and operated resort run with pride and integrity. We are the last stand of cottages on the water in Mackinaw City. We are 1 mile east of downtown. There are sidewalks and a bike trail to get to town.- #15

Seven cottages sit directly on the beachfront the others back up in a U shape from the beach. Everyone staying at the Beach House has access to our private beach. The Beach House is pet friendly (small pet fee) with 2 animals maximum. All hotel rooms in Michigan are non smoking. Smoking is permitted outdoors.

Very nice clean room, comfortable bed, and beautiful views! Lots of extras available such as sand toys and roasting sticks for bonfires showed how much they care about guests. My kids asked if we could move in! Thank you!These comments are from a verified stay

We had a magical view of the bridge at night and stunning sunrises. Customer service was excellent too! The location was awesome. There were grills available to use as well as items in the office if you didn't want to eat out the whole time. We used the pool and hot tub as well as sat on the beach. Very comfortable beds, love the knotty pine and the modern TV. So glad the property is being maintained and improved instead of torn down and replaced with just another hotel. Always enjoy that big ol pool with the eight foot deep end, don't see many of those anymore! Good stay and Martin is a good host! Close to downtown MackinawxCity and the ferries. Used the shuttle and saved parking. It ran every ten minutes. The location was perfect, with it being more away from the main center of activity, but a short drive or long walk to the sites in Mackinaw City. We started our mornings on the beach with plenty of seating provided, and I spent an afternoon in the pool and hot tub area. The hot tub was older, but still provided great jet flows. Bring your own hair dryer if you need one, as that is not provided in the cabin. Everything else we needed was there. Everyone was friendly and the cabin was spotless. I loved how clean everything was. The view was fantastic and the owner is wonderful. It was really great to be able to utilize the neighboring waterpark as well as the pool right next to the office. The owner was absolutely fantastic! He was extremely nice and willing to help make our vacation fabulous at every turn. We have stayed there over a dozen times and will definitely be back again. All except for the rate that is. To pay $160 for one night in my opinion is crazy expensive.
