It may be simple, but offers the essentials for a comfortable night. The room was clean, bed comfortable, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. This is a very basic, clean place to stay. They have a pool we did not use but my husband stuck his hand in and said it was warm. Rox checked us in and out. Extremely pleasant fellow. We added a second room (someone joining our trip at the last minute and did their own separate reservation) and before arrival I requested the rooms be as close together as possible, and they were right next to each other. The walls had i dont even know what on them. We ended up buying cleaning supplies and disinfecting our room all the way around. Friendly check in and local information provided. Shuttle will pick you up here for day trip ferry to Mackinac Island. The rooms are well appointed and very clean and roomy. The staff at the check-in desk were very friendly and helpful, a pleasure to deal with. They also offer specials on some of the events in town.
