Was a little of an inconvenience having to go to another hotel to check in. Housekeeping never came to our room. We had to go to the main desk to get clean towels and toilet paper. However we having been staying at the Waterfront for over 30 years and will continue to do so.These comments are from a verified stay

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The kitchens were minimally stocked with cooking essentials but we made them work in preparing simple meals. The beach was a nice bonus.These comments are from a verified stayDid you find this helpful?|The room (419) and bed was clean, the TV and A/C worked fine, but the tub/shower drain was just trickling. The tub would fill up too much by the time the water warmed up. Then, I had to let it drain (several minutes) before I could shower with warm water. Ample parking and Spacious rooms and the price is very good. We had issue with the bathroom door getting locked otherwise I dont have anything to complain. The rooms are exactly what you pay for - a place to sleep and nothing more. Mentioned that to them so they can repair it. Staff seemed friendly. Not enough parking when motel near capacity. Beds are older and hard/firm.Right on edge of water and near fireworks we had "front row" viewing. Did you find this helpful?|Stayed at waterfront inn , the rest was easy to get to . Ferry to the island was affordable. Once on island rented bikes my 6yr old had fun. We stayed right off the beach, weather was 70 and raining , still manageable as weather is controles by Mother Nature ! All in all we had a great family trip, wee want to make it an annual trip . We needed more towels and had no way way to get any. When we went to check out the next morning there was still not a single employee in sight and a note on door telling us to go check out at a different hotel. The only negative from our whole visit was at the water park. The middle pool looked murky and smelled strongly of chemicals. The county inspector was there for a walk-through and he told my husband the water tested safely so we swam in it. The water turned my silver rings almost black. That only happens with very strong chemicals in my experience. We would definitely stay again though. I love the waterfront inn. They do not have the continental breakfast and their beds are only full size not queen as advertised. The only problem we had was that the patio door got stuck closed on the second day of our stay and we couldn't open it. The housekeeping staff were very attentive to our needs! The room did smell like stale smoke - very happy to leave the window and door open.
