The hotel clerk upon arrival abruptly announced that they were not serving breakfast. I believe that there should have been some adjustment credit to our stay for this being the website stated that breakfast was provided. Our view of the Straits of Mackinac was amazing especially the spectacular sunrises. The location made everything walkable…the ferry, restaurants, and shopping. We highly recommend The Dixie Salloon! Our only complaint was the dim light in the bathroom and the noisy fan. Our other suggestion is to place signs pointing to which way the lobby is. It took me awhile to find it and finally had to ask someone where it was. Then, on my way back to our room, someone else asked me the same question.
