The room we rented was big, spacious, and very clean! The view from our balcony was GORGEOUS. The view of the water and the bridge was perfect especially at night time. Our hotel was walking distance from Starline Ferry which was very convenient. The hotel prices were just in our budget. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The view is beautiful. We stay two weeks at a time. Weekends are not as pleasant as many weekend guests are noisy and rude. Did you find this helpful?|The room was clean and the proximity to the beach was great. I have no complaints with the stay. However, the food in mackinac city leaves much to be desired. Most places had the same 5 appetizers and the wait staff/ hostess (specifically at Dixie’s saloon) were unfriendly and seemed completely bored with tourists. Unfortunately we felt that even if we did complain it wouldn’t matter. Also of note was that the food on mackinaw island was outstanding. Any questions we had about the city or Island they explain to us and helped us find a things to do. Hotel was clean & a great 4th floor view, early morning breakfast was good. It’s the only one i could find in the area that can accomodate a big group of people in a room. We had two large suites that were connected to each other that were perfect for family reunions. The view from the balcony was amazing just being able to sit out there and look at the water. The hotel was in a great spot for us to go run around and do stuff everything was only a few minutes away. I do wish the blankets were a bit thicker. Our king bed was a little too hard but we definitely will be staying again when we come back. We were in town for the Zoo de Mack bike ride, and the hotel even offered a secured area to store our bikes.
