Came back at 4 PM and our room was not ready until 4:15 PM. We were upgraded due to the problem, but was quite inconvenient. We had two little children that were due for naps and down time. We were not offered any apologies or even informed of the upgrade until we discovered it ourselves. Otherwise, hotel was nice. Great view, clean room. Waterpark was nice. Everyone was very courteous and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the view over the water was relaxing. Walking out from the sand laid beach into Lake Huron was nice if you didn't mind the somewhat rocky floor next year we will have water shoes to wear. Overall our party of 6 had a wonderful time with all this hotel had to offer the ferry ride pick ups with all our bikes including 1 three wheeled, and I think the biggest waterpark in any hotel around. So yes we are planing to come back with more friends especially when we got a refund back on not being able to ride the horse drawn carriage which we really wanted to but didn't have enough time to see everything else we wanted and didn't know it was going to be 2 hours long :( But that was ok.
